Black History Night

Hello everyone, it is black history month, a time to rejoice and celebrate God’s goodness in our lives as a community. This year, we are celebrating this period differently. At 5.30pm on Sunday, November 1 2020, we are having a special worship event which we have tagged “The Black History Night”. This is a time of worship, fun, food and other exciting activities. Therefore it promises to be a wonderful time.

You can come join us in person at St. Germain’s. To book your place please visit our booking site. The event will also be streamed live on our Facebook page and by Zoom. For Zoom registration, contact Les in the church office.

We would love to be able to serve food at the service but current restrictions make that difficult. This doesn’t stop you from bringing your own. We would love everyone to share jollof rice, for those who have never cooked this before, we have shared a YouTube video. All you have to do is to watch the video, see if you can cook the food and then bring it with you. We encourage everyone to wear various African attires that you are able to find. Most importantly, come and enjoy being in God’s presence, come and connect with God in a unique way. Join us for this awesome time.

See you there.
